Rumor Mill: Return of the Bronco

We have been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the new 2020 Bronco like a kid staring at their advent calendar watching Christmas morning get closer and closer. To put it plainly, we can’t freaking wait.

New rumors are trickling down from sources that are pointing towards Getrag, the famed German manual transmission builder – to build a new manual transmission for the upcoming Bronco. The new manual transmission, named the MT-88 will having a whopping seven gears and is likely to be paired with the legendary 2.7L EcoBoost engine that has been found in everything from the Fusion Sport, to the F-150.

With only a handful of cars left on the road sporting manual transmissions, this is exciting news and something we believe will happen since Ford has publicly put Jeep in their crosshairs.

A boosted 350 horsepower V6, seven-speed manual transmission and live Dana axles?

Color me crazy, but the Juice is loose once again.
